October 4, 2023 - Planning Commission
The Planning Commission will hold public hearings at 5:00 p.m. to consider the following:
- 1. A zoning ordinance amendment that would require additional mitigation measures for certain commercial uses in the C-2, CP-2 and CPCO zones if they are considered a high impact land use when adjacent to residential zones.
- 2. A subdivision ordinance amendment that would modify the process for considering subdivision preliminary plans. Public Comment Period - September 18, 2023 to October 17, 2023
The Community Development Division of Ogden City is asking for public input on the following:
- Amendment #1 to the Annual Action Plan Fiscal Year 2024. The purpose is to adopt the HUD 2023 HOME Homeownership value limits; increase the Own in Ogden HOME budget and HOME match funds and increase Own in Ogden program goals; adopt a one year CDBG overall low- and moderate-income benefit certification period; and approve an Annual Action Plan Fiscal Year 2024 HUD overall budget decrease.

The City Council will hold a public hearing on the following items at 6:00 p.m.
- A request to rezone property located at 1720-1834 Washington Boulevard from Single-Family Residential Zone (R-1-6), Two-Family Residential Zone (R-2), Open Space Zone (O-1), and Community Commercial Zone (CP-2) to Regional Commercial Zone/Conditional Overlay Zone (C-3/CO).
- A request to vacate a portion of River Drive and the conveyance of surplus City property to develop a mixed-use project.
