Charges filed as class "B" or class "C" misdemeanors that occurred within Ogden City Limits must be satisfied with the Ogden City Justice Court. Most, but not all, misdemeanors are considered "mandatory appearances" meaning a court appearance is required. It is suggested that you contact the court at 801-629-8560 to verify your case has been filed with the court before appearing to set a date. You have fourteen (14) days from the date of the violation to contact the court and/or appear in person to set the court date.
Set a Court Date Over the Phone
Court dates can be set in person or over the phone. If you are setting a court date by phone, an email address and/or fax number in which a document may be sent for signature is required. Signed documents must be returned to the court before a court date will be scheduled.
