The Ogden Police Department is the largest Municipal law enforcement agency in Weber County, Utah. Since 1855, Ogden City has provided officers to patrol the streets and provide law enforcement services.

The Uniform Division is commanded by the Field Operations Captain. It is comprised of four duty lieutenants, squad sergeants, and patrol officers each working a specific area in the city.

Officers patrol the 26 square miles of the city responding to an average of 110,000 service calls a year. Uniform Division Officers interact with a city population of 86,000 which increases with the day to day employees and visitors to our city.

We are committed to working in partnership with the community to identify and resolve issues that impact public safety and the quality of life of our citizens.
