The Ogden Police Department Investigations Bureau is comprised of two divisions: Major Crimes and Special Victims (SVU). Bureau detectives specialize in the investigation of a wide variety of crimes, including:
Crimes Against Persons
Property Crimes
Fraud
Domestic Violence
Sex Crimes
Vehicle Burglary
Crimes Against Children
In addition to criminal investigations, the OPD Investigations Bureau staffs two full-time Victim Advocates, who serve crime victims by facilitating support and resources when necessary. Bureau members are passionate about their work, and are committed to applying their collective knowledge, experience, and talents to serve the citizens of Ogden City.
