Group dwelling text amendment

A petitioner requested the city amend the Group Dwelling chapter of the Zoning Ogroup dwellingrdinance.  Group dwellings are apartment or townhome complexes with more than one building on a lot.  The proposed amendment includes changes to the definitions, minimum lot size, density, setbacks, building separation, open space, landscaping, building design standards, parking, amenities, and land uses. The petitioner’s overall goal is to make the group dwelling ordinance a tool that developers will choose to use to build quality dwelling units.  

The Ogden City Council adopted these changes at their February 20, 2024 meeting.
