Today’s Course Conditions
El Monte and Mt Ogden are closed for the season. With the current pattern of snow, rain, melt, we would envision El Monte not opening until February weather permitting. We get asked as to why January openings are unlikely even if the courses are free of snow and the answer is simply that any divot or ball mark that is taken this time of year stays with you until late spring, especially in wet conditions, so we believe in giving the course a rest after a busy season and protect it until conditions are acceptable for walking and golf cart rental.
