Ogden offers several unique business and industrial parks and development sites, described in more detail below.
Business Depot Ogden
Business Depot Ogden (BDO) is Northern Utah’s premier business and industrial park with high-quality infrastructure. The development consists of a 1,000+ acre master-planned business park with over 9 million square feet of existing space and in excess of 300 acres for new development and build-to-suit space.
The park is home to many of Ogden’s major employers, including White Clouds 3D Printing, Barnes Aerospace, Capstone Nutrition, Honeyville Grain, Esurance, and HomeDepot.com.
Ogden Business Exchange
The Ogden Business Exchange (OBE) is a new state-of-the-art business and light industrial park designed around outdoor lifestyle amenities, sustainability principles, and the newest infrastructure. Nestled by a bend in the Weber River, with sweeping views of the Wasatch Range, the business park also offers access to an extensive trail network and open space along the river.
OBE is home to leading cycling brands ENVE Composites and Selle Royal (parent company to Crank Brothers). Local favorite Roosters Brewing recently opened a new brewery and taproom adjacent to the site.
OBE offers opportunities to purchase and develop a building, or to partner with a developer on a build-to-suit project. Available lots range from 2.5 to 5 ac, with building footprints from 14,000 to 90,000 sf.
The Ogden-Hinckley Airport (OGD) is an ideal site for aerospace and aviation-related businesses. Existing companies located at the airport include Northrop Grumman, Williams International, and Borsight. The airport is within two miles of Hill Air Force Base and in close proximity to companies such as BAE Systems, Boeing, Orbital ATK, and Lockheed Martin. The airport is also less than 10 minutes from downtown Ogden and offers excellent access to the area’s cultural and outdoor recreation attractions.
OGD is an FAA-certified Part 139 airport with an FAA control tower and runways and taxiways that are in excellent condition. OGD is able to handle all regional and standard twin jets up to a B-757, and regularly accommodates diversions from Salt Lake City International Airport.
Kemp Ogden Gateway Center
The Kemp Ogden Gateway Center is a 47-acre business airpark located at the Ogden-Hinckley Airport. The Kemp Center offers 1.3 million square feet of buildable space dedicated to aerospace and aviation uses. The 30-acre south campus is already home to a 90,000 sf executive terminal, conference center, and FBO, along with a 95,000 sf building featuring Class A office space and high-end hangars. The site offers existing and build-to-suit space available for runway-adjacent development.
